Christmas Finishes

I hope that everybody a a wonderful Christmas Holiday.

I have 2 Christmas gift finishes that I can now post pictures of.
The first is my Moose on the Porch Jelly Roll Quilt Along.
This one has been sent to my Grandparents for Christmas.
I hope they enjoy this Happy Camper quilt when they
take trips with their RV group.

This Christmas quilt is now at its forever home with my parents.

Sorry for the poor pictures.
It was so rainy and yucky in San Diego I had to take them
inside the house without an assistant.

Jelly Roll Along Top Done

I am on vacation! Whoo Hoo. Nothing really planned just taking a week off work. I have a few quilting things I would like to get done and maybe we can do a few things around town.
Here is my Moose on the Porch Jelly Roll Quilt Along top finished. This one is just too big for me to quilt on my machine so it will have to be sent out to the long arm quilter. I made it with a Moda Happy Camper Jelly Roll. I am thinking it would be a really nice lap quilt to give to my Grandparents as a Christmas gift. They could take in their RV for snuggling under on the cold Washington winter camping trips. This is my 3rd project using Happy Camper, I still have a few Honey Buns so I am thinking it will not be my last.

My DD Bee has started her own blog. She has started paper piecing Harry Potter blocks and has the first 7 blocks posted. So far all the fabrics she is using have been found in my stash or scrap bins.

Jelly Roll Along My Last Blocks

Last week I didn't get any sewing done. I wasn't feeling very good and just went to work and came home. Jeff, Sam, Bee & I did play cards. That is just great family time. I love that we always mix-up teams.

Today Bee and I both had sewing to get done. She has 4 baby girls she wants to make dresses for. She is going to make the dresses bigger so they get to grow into them. She didn't feel like getting her machine out so we just took turns sewing on mine. She did a little fabric shopping in my stash for these dress. I can't wait to show pictures once they are done.

I was working on finishing my Moose on the Porch Jelly Roll Quilt along blocks. I am not all caught up and just need to figure out how I want to finish the quilt.

Block 11
Block 12
There was 1 block I didn't like so I just skipped over it. Bee designed and picked out this block for me to use as a substitute. Now I just need to figure out how I would like to finish the quilt.
This is going to be a catch-up weekend, so tomorrow I hope to get caught up on my Block Central BOM. Kim fell a little behind getting them posted so I feel a little behind getting them done. I hope that everything is ok with her.

Jelly Roll Along Block 9 & 10

I got caught up just in time. Here are my next 2 blocks for the Moose on the Porch Jelly Roll Quilt along. I just love these blocks.
I think this one would look really cute as a whole scrappy quilt. Once I finish this quilt maybe I can pick out 1 of my Jelly Rolls and see how it turns out.

Jelly Roll Along Block 7 & 8

I feel behind on The Moose on the Porch Jelly Roll Along. But I am now all caught up. Whoo Woo! While ripping out my wrong seam on the #7 block Jeff told me that I really was a bargin girl since I am getting twice the quilting for my fabric dollar. You gotta love a guy that kind find a silver lining on having to rip out seams. Giggle

Jelly Roll Along Block 3

I finished making my 3rd block of the Jelly Roll Quilt Along hosted by Konda Luckau at Moose on the Porch Quilts. Every other Monday a new block is posted. Goto her blog to read all about it. It isn't too late to join in. Everybody's blocks are turning out so good. You can look at all the blocks on the Flickr page. Here are all 3 of my blocks so far. I have been using a Moda Happy Camper Jelly Roll. I really love this fabric line.
