Have I mentioned how much I love this Hideaway fabric?

Wifely Wednesday 66 & 67

I am still plugging away on my Farmer's Wife Blocks.

Block 66
Periwinkle
This one I had to make a 2nd time.
I had cut the pieces and put them into a baggie then couldn't figure the correct background placement.
Recut and went together beautifully.

Block 67
Pinetree
A block like this really makes me love my triagulations CD.

Wifely Wednesday #64-65

Another week,
Another 2 blocks.

Block 64 Peace & Plenty
I wasn't sure I was liking this block from the picture in the book.
I almost looked for a substitute block.
However I really like it after all.

Block 65 Peaceful Hours
Please don't look to close at the points.
I hope that they will get hidden in the finished quilt
among the 111 blocks.

Wifely Wednesday #60-61

I am so happy to be working on my Farmer's Wife blocks again.
I am not seeing them around bloggity land so much.
Maybe people are just taking a break and they will start showing up again.
Block #60 Noon & Light
I am happy to be back using my templates again.

Block #61 Northern Lights
I so love this blue & yellow fabric together.

I am thinking that Hideaway might be my favorite fabric line.
Too bad it is getting harder to find.
I did buy an 2nd Fat Quarter Bundle for a future project.

Wifely Wednesday #49

It has been a little too long.
This week I figured I best get back at my Farmer's Wife blocks

Block 59
Night & Day
This is my 2nd attempt at this block.
I paper pieced this one.
I don't know if it is just me but I took a lot of extra fabric to paper piece.
Maybe I will go back to templates.

I like my colors but I am not loving this block.

Block 53 Jackknife
This is such a fun block.
Color choice really changes the look of this block.

Block 54 Kitchen Woodbox
I am really happy with the contrast of this block.

Wifely Wednesday #49-51

It is so fun to have a bunch of these cut out so I can just sit down and sew.
I think I will be taking another evening and getting a bunch more cut out.

Block 49 Honeycomb
The contrast on this one is nice.

Block 50 Honey's Choice
What a fun block.

Block 51 Hovering Birds
These fabrics are so wonderful

Block 46 Hill & Valley
This is another block that looks better in real life

Block 47 Homemaker
These y seams went together easier then I thought.
I really might take on a y seam quilt when this one is done

Block 48 Homeward Bound
I love the color placement on this one.

Wifely Wednesday #38-42

Yeah 5 more Farmer's Wife blocks finished.
I even have 5 more cut out and ready to sew.
Cutting these blocks is perfect for doing while I am watching football on Sundays.

Block 38 Four Winds
This one reminds me that I will eventually have to square all of these up.

Block 39 Friendship
It is a special treat when an easy block sneaks in.
It seems like the are few and far between.

Block 40 Friendship Block
The colors on this one are better in person.

Block 41 Friendship Star
Very nice to get another easy one this week.

Block 42 Fruit Basket
The yellows in this line just makes me SO happy.

Wifely Wednesday #33-37

I missed last week but have made up for it this week.
It seems that I am seeing fewer of these blocks on blogs as the weeks have gone by.
I guess people must be dropping off.
I am officially 1/3 of the way through my blocks.

Block 33 Farmer's Puzzle
I put this together all wrong the first time so this is my 2nd attempt.
I ended up drafting it out and it went together very easy after that.

Block 34 Flock
This one was pretty fast too.

Block 35 Flower Basket
My handle is a little small but overall I like it.
Maybe it will seem better once it is sewn into the quilt

Block 36 Flower Garden Path
This one was NO fun.
I don't like how it went together but am not going to put myself through it again.

Block 37 Flower Pot
I am glad I committed to doing these in order.
This block has Y seams so it would have been at the very bottom of my completion list.
However the Y's went together easy.

Maybe I am ready for a quilt that has Y seams.
I have the pattern for this quilt I have been wanting to make.
I think I just need the time.

Wifely Wednesday #29-32

Another 2 weeks worth completed so,
One week closer to catching up with the a-long.
I even have 3 blocks cut out for next week.

Block 29 Economy
I just love green & yellow together
especially this green & yellow.

Block 30 End of Day
I just noticed that this block is wrong.
The little triangles should be on the outside.
Since I love the pinwheel so much it will stay wrong.
Do you thing anybody will notice the little wrong block on the finished quilt.
I don't think so either.

Block 31 Evening Star
Bee really liked this one.

Block 32 Farmer's Daughter
I am really happy with this one.
Soon I will need to take a picture of all the blocks together and see what colors need to be added.

I am so in love with these Hideway fabrics that I ordered myself a fat quarter bundle to replace the one being used on this quilt.

Wifely Wednesday #25-28

Just as I was getting caught up with the Farmer's Wife Quilt along,
What should happen?
Well I fell many weeks behind.
I think this is week #21 so I should be on block #42
Lucky for me there is no Farmer's Wife Block police to track me down.

Block #25 Cups & Saucers
Loving the red & yellow together.
Block #26 Cut Glass Dish
For being such small pieces I am very happy with how my seams lined up.
Thank goodness for Triangulations.
Block #27 Darting Birds
I think I need to square this one up a bit.
Block #28 Duck and Ducklings
I am very happy with the fabric choices on this one.
Maybe I can get caught up in the next few weeks.
