Block Central BOM

OMG It is so humid in San Diego.

I know that I am a weather wimp and many of you have this all the time.

How do you do it?!

So instead of taking the bikes out for a beach ride,

I stayed home and emptied a UFO tote.

This is my version of the 2010 BOM

Sentimental Journey at Block Central.

I think it would look better with more borders but I don't want it to get any bigger.

Now it is an "on the hanger" UFO.

Now that my Christmas project are done.

I am going to try and catch up on the BOM's I have worked on this year.

Yeah! I am all caught up on the Block Central Sentimental Journey BOM. I just love the colors of these blocks.

Block Central Block Sentimental Journey

Today was my catch-up day for the Block Central BOM Sentimental Journey. I was behind 4 blocks. 1 more block and I will be caught up. I hope to get it done this week. I sure wish I could see some of the other colorways that people are making this one in. After doing Flickr & Google searches nothing showed up. The Block Central Forum doesn't even have any pictures either. If you have a link to a different colorway please leave me a comment with a link.

I know I have way to many BOMs going on this year. I am not sure that I will be able to keep up. Here are my Block Central Sentimental Journey I am very happy with the colors I have chosen for these blocks. I haven't figured out the borders yet but I have lots of time.

Jeff and I took a drive to Anzo Borrego desert to look at the flowers. Here are a few that we saw. It was a good excuse to get out of the house. Although I think we both enjoyed the drive and chatting along the way best. We stopped in Borrego Springs and had lunch at a local taco shop Los Jilbertos. I have to say that Jeff's Chimichanga looked alot better then the Flying Saucer that I had. But we both agree that having a cold drink after the long drive was the best treat of all!
